Riad Aguaviva Marrakech
Riad Aguaviva is a traditional Riad in the Medina of Marrakech, close to one of its main gates, Bab el Khemis, which was one of the locations of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1956).
This Riad was completedly refurbished by Manel and David, both from Barcelona, and is open to guests since 2008.
Riad Aguaviva is very near from the mausoleum of Sidi Ben Abbas (the city's patron saint); within 10 minutes from medina's center: the Ben Youssef Mosque; Jmaa Lfna square is at 20 minutes walking distance.
Aguaviva experience
Riad Aguaviva is not just a place to stay, but a whole new lodging concept. We propose you to discover Marrakech, an enigmatic and diverse city, by suggesting you a full set of alternative routes:
- Visit some of the most hidden souks, where tourists are hardly spotted.
- Daily life of a medieval city is still preserved right in the twenty first century.
- Enjoy the restaurants: from the most sophisticated −usually in uneasy alleys−, to the most popular and inexpensive.
- The contrast with modern life in the new city, outside of the Medina.
- Feel the unique experience of the most spectacular hammams (for those fond of adventure, a traditional hammam).
We strive to provide you with a custom-tailored service in a relaxed atmosphere, in contrast with the bustling activity in the Medina.
